Dog Found Dead - Priscilla Abdali Treviño Arrested, 38 Age
Priscilla Abdali Treviño, 38, has been arrested and charged with cruelty to non-livestock animals in relation to a dead dog found on her property, according to Laredo police.
Laredo police responded to a report of a dead dog on August 8th. They found a brown German shepherd with a chain around its neck, tied to a tree with no leaves. The dog’s food bowl was empty and a bucket next to it contained green water.
“Based on the totality of circumstances, the unknown owner of the K-9 failed to provide the K-9 with reasonably necessary food, water, care and shelter,” states the affidavit.
The police identified the owner of the dead dog as Mrs. Trevino. She was surprised when she was informed of the incident. Authorities said the dog had been dead for two days. Mrs. Trevino agreed to meet with an investigator from the local police department.
During the interview, Mrs. Trevino stated that her dog was not used to being tied up and that she suspected someone might have caused the incident.
